SWEET AS

Awesome campaign from Host for Air New Zealand. Would have loved to see it on my own. But there must have been a big citylight on Martin place where people in NZ could have sent their messages to Australia to convince people to come home. :) I like that idea and also the design of the microsite. And by the way: "sweet as" is a New Zealand slang for "everything's okay." Can also be used in place of "yes!" For example: "wanna beer mate?" "yeah, sweet as". Cheers.

Originals and Fakes

Nice blog about fakes in design, advertising, etc...
I especially like the naming of "You thought we wouldn't notice". And it's just astonishing how creative thoughts are sometimes connected. Especially when comparing this beer ad here with the original music video here.

Going there...

... tomorrow. It's Easter again.

Being here, being today...

Google Earth is just amazing - while flying from one place to another I've stumbled over this little "you tube"-video in my street and Jana Nitsch, a street entertainer, who once did perform at Fools Garden. And while listening to this tiny little music piece which she wrote after splitting up from her boyfriend while sitting in the middle of the Sierra Nevada, with her accordion, I think it's pretty good where I am today.
