our slightly crazy neighbour always used to go out in the rain of a thunderstorm wearing a green bathing slip. As I was very afraid of the lightning, hiding inside, I always tried convincing him to go back into the house. But the only thing he responded to me was: Don't worry, when you are wearing a green swim suit nothing happens to you. So now I'm wondering what happened, if I had taken this nasty guy seriously and had taken my clothes off to climb up the roof and had told him that Germans wearing green swim suits will never be struck by lightning.
